I could write for days about our vacation, but I will restrain myself.
Instead, I’m just gonna saturate you with my gratuitous photos.
(Company Luau, they had free Polynesian warrior face-paint. My husband did an EXCELLENT hula for everyone. Also, I held a bird.
(Sunset dinner cruise, not a bad place to have a cocktail.)
(Boys went deep sea fishing, that fish was delicious.)
(Woke up at 2:30 a.m. just to watch the sun rise over the Haleakala Volcano. Haleakala means “House of the Sun” and while it was beautiful, it was FREEZING!!! Apparently the Sun doesn’t visit his house very often.)
Then we rode our bikes back down to sea-level.
10,000 feet in elevation.
We stopped at a sweet diner with an amazing view, and had the hardiest, most well earned breakfast of all time.
There were countless moments filled with beaches, sunsets, waterfalls, lava fields, and of course . . . sea turtles.
It was just the most wonderful, soul-enriching, gorgeous vacation. I had an amazing time, obviously.
Mahalo, Maui. And, Aloha.
